Endangered species from around the world are at home here
Mountain View Conservation and Breeding Centre is a leading non-profit Canadian facility that breeds endangered species in family groups for re-introduction back into their natural habitat in Canada and around the world.
Today, we host over 50 species of the world's most rare and endangered wildlife. Our commitment is to operate world-class breeding and re-introduction programs. We work with wildlife and zoo conservation organizations and governments locally and around the world. Learn more about Mountain View's history and origins here.
Mountain View provides internships to veterinary, zoological university students, and teaches species husbandry skills to conservationists from Canada and other re-introduction countries and organizations. The Mountain View Philosophy gives you more details.
GET INVOLVED WITH MOUNTAIN VIEW SOCIETY
Mountain View is a private facility. The Centre is not open for general visiting to protect the living environment for the animals in our care, but there are ways to visit and get involved. When you become a Mountain View member you are entitled to visit the Centre by booking an appointment for a guided tour.
If you are a member of a group, details for group visits or school visits are on this site or please, give us a call and we can provide the details by phone (604-882- 9313).
You can also become a donor to support our initiatives or adopt an animal, which is very popular with children, families and as a gift for someone special.
If you live in the Langley area, volunteers are always needed. Check out our Volunteer section for more details.
