Adopt an Animal like the Northern Spotted Owls.
Adults and children alike fall in love with our animals when they see them, either in real life or in pictures. All the photos on our site are of the animals in our care. Now you can “adopt” a Mountain View animal, bird or amphibian. It’s another way to support these rare and endangered animals and help ensure our breeding programs continue.

WHY ADOPT AN ANIMAL?

Did you know that each year, our Conservation Programs cost over $250,000 in food and care costs for all the rare species living at the Mountain View Conservation Centre. Plus it costs over $100,000 annually to maintain their natural habitats and facilities. So for as little as $50 you can help support and sponsor our work to save these rare and endangered species, and their natural habitats.

Special Adoption Levels

$50.00 per year – ANIMAL ADOPTION – helps provides food and keeper care for an animal. And with every adoption, you will receive:

A guide tour for one person
An adoption certificate and photo
A tax receipt is provided on request

$100.00 per year – ANIMAL FAMILY FRIEND – provides feed, bed hay for your adopted animal family. And with every adoption, you will receive:

A Guided Tour for two guests
An adoption certificate and photo
A tax receipt is provided on request

$250.00 per year – SPECIES SPONSOR – provides keeper care, food, bedding and habitat maintenance for your adopted animal/species. With every sponsorship, you will receive:

A Family Guided Tour for 5 Guests
An adoption certificate and photo
A tax receipt is provided by request

$500.00 or more per year – SPECIES CONSERVATIONIST – provides breeding support services for one species including: genetic monitoring, gestation vet care, special food enhancements, food & bedding for the animals. And with every adoption, you will receive:

A Guided Tram Tour of Mountain View for 20 guests
An adoption certificate and photo of your species
A tax receipt is provided by request
